I LoVe the weekends....time with my family and a chance to catch up on all of the things I didn't get to around the house, as the week flies by....teaching First Grade is what I LoVe to do! It is who I am.....but ya'll, this past week WORE me OUT! We had our First Grade Field Trip to the San Antonio Zoo...... and we had a blast! I will be uploading pictures very soon! We also had our End of Year TRPI testing this past week and I am over the moon with my class' results! They have come so far since that first day of school......We have 5 weeks of school left and it's going to be a whirlwind! I am going to miss my class -- I love each and everyone of them!
I am also SO excited to have my blog started and can't wait to add all of the wonderful things we do in our class!

- I LOVE being a teacher. My degree is in Early Childhood Education and I am also G/T & ESL Certified. I spent 7 years teaching Kindergarten and this will be my 4th year to teach First Grade! I truly enjoy being in the classroom with my wonderful little firsties! Each day is exciting and new - love seeing their smiles! I have a wonderful husband and two little boys that keep me very busy! When I 'm not in the classroom, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family!
