The Leader in Me at Lytle Primary.....
I am honored to be a part of our campus Lighthouse Team and involved in The Leader In Me program at our school. Our Lighthouse Team recently attended the 2013 Leader In Me Symposium in San Antonio, Texas. It was an unbelievable and wonderful experience. We were able to visit other schools to get some great ideas!!! We heard Ron Clark and various other motivational speakers and were filled with fabulous ways to make Lytle Primary and our classrooms SHINE!!!

"Leadership is communicating to people their worth and potential so clearly that they come to see it in themselves."
This is without a doubt something that I strive to convey in my students. I want them to know what they are special and unique. I want them to use their talents to enhance our classroom . Within each of us.....there IS a LEADER!!!!

Looking for information about Stephen Covey, I found your blog. I'm picture editor from daily newspaper Trouw from the Netherlands (Amsterdam). Next saturday we have an article on Stephen Covey and education.In the Netherlands we don't have schools working with the ideas of Covey. The very, very nice pictures of 'your' children I see above are such a clear illustration of what the ideas of Covey are about. I wonder if it's possible to get your permission (and the permission of the children and their parents)to publish the pictures, or same of them?
